Upcoming and recurring events
Wednesdays at 12:15 (noontime): Holy Communion in St. Peter's Chapel at the Cathedral, using the Book of Common Prayer
Sundays at 10:30 am: the Holy Eucharist, using the Book of Alternative Services with hymns from either the hymnal Common Worship or our own in-house Songbook. Occasionally, we might use hymns from the Book of Common Praise or the Anglican-United hymnal. And as always, join us after service for some fellowship, coffee, tea, and snacks.
The annual Christmas Tea and Bazaar returns, Saturday November 30th, beginning at 11:00 am. $5.00 will get you in the door and put a beverage, sandwich and treat in your hands. For an additional $3.00, you get a bowl of nourishing and warm soup. As always, we will have a baked goods table and a looney auction table. Come one, come all!
Our Thursday evening Pot-Luck continues on December 5th, beginning at 6:00 pm, in the parish hall. Bring your favourite meals to share, your favourite friends to dine with. And of course, if you have no meals or no friends, you are certainly welcome to join us anyway. The next pot-luck after this one will be February 6th.
December 15th, beginning at 7:00 pm, the congregations of the city's ministerial will gather at St. Andrew's for a service of Lessons and Carols. Our guest preacher will be Pastor Aaron Roorda of the Pentecostal Tabernacle church.
Christmas Eve, December 24th, we will offer 2 services: at 7:00 pm a more family oriented services, followed at 11:00 pm with a more traditional midnight mass. All are welcome!
Begin the new year off with a social at the Cathedral. Join Bishop David at his 1st annual Levee, January 1st from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Good food, good friends, good start to the year. Everybody welcome!
